We will only use word count at the beginning of the write-a-thon and at the end, for the exact reasons I'm sure you've already guessed. :)

I still haven't started. I might sneak in 100 words before bed, and a couple hundred tomorrow after I finish work, packing, and tidying my room. Odds are you will be WAY ahead of me on Friday.
