So I was on facebook looking up 'friends' to trim off of my facebook and I noticed that two of my friend requests never added me. One being Detriot Lions star RB Kevin Smith (went to my college) and you (Jessica 'Jet' Tiu). So then I thought oh shit, maybe something happened to you. But nope.
You're alive and doing well it looks like. I hope you're enjoying your post OCS life. I ended up going back in and completing it in 12 weeks under Gyst Coyer. Never had I ever been personally tested so much. You never know the effect you have on people and doing something as simple as taking a guy out to see the Dark Knight after he got NPQ'd meant a lot to me. So thank you.
Another thing. You're so dorky. Completely a dork. But thats okay. As long as you're having fun at it. That's all that matters.

I'm sorry that I never added you back, but it wasn't a deliberate action of rejection (FB can be so passive aggressive sometimes), the truth is I hadn't logged in to Facebook in over a year, so I honestly didn't see any requests, yours or anyone elses'. The few months after coming home from student pool were the most difficult for me, and I was contemplating a lot of different paths now that I had some actual freedom. A year ago I started going back to school a bit and exploring a career in law. I'm having a few bumps and bruises as well in work experience, but I still believe I can do some good in this field, and maybe the field will do some good for me. It was difficult seeing all my OCS friends and their updates/"life on the outside" so to speak when I logged into FB, so i just started avoiding it altogether and throwing myself into a new life. [ plus I think I have enough social networking accounts as it is anyway.. though I don't have a myspace, and this LJ is mostly for nerd hobbies/photography/spam
