Eeeee two people with an interest! I never get so much response about anything I write, I love it XD And you know, 'poor fish' is the response I always get to that. But they're reanimated, and like a zombie, I don't think they can feel anything.
Still enjoying this - especially the cooking fish comment. Exactly what "time period" is this set in? You going for medieval, epic, urban or scifi fantasy? Or none of the above?
X3 Originally it was aimed at something medieval, but around the time technology was starting to improve again. Electricity is starting to become more wide-spread, at least in towns, although it's not really steampunk. It was going to be epic fantasy, but I don't like the 'epicness' of epic fantasy - why can't it be fantasy with regular, fairly plain characters? So I'm trying to keep most of them fairly normal, rather than super duper mega-powered characters, if that makes sense.
I might post about the world it's in next, rather than Tahmik, because I don't have much to write about him, yet. I also still think I need a girl, but I don't know yet.
Interesting! And what do you have in mind when you say 'need a girl'? As a main character, or?
My NaNo this year is leaning more towards epic fantasy than any other sub-genre, to be honest XD I enjoy all kinds of fantasy and this time around it just turned out I was in the mood for something larger than life and flashy; but regular, fairly plain characters are wonderful too :)

I like epic fantasy, but didn't want to write it. Do you have NaNo posts up on your journal too?
