I got a cat today! I went to this other animal shelter place and they let me have one right there. I tried calling the place I went to last week but the phone was busy the entire day and there was something odd with how they just never got back to me about it

hooray for getting a cat?? do people that get cats for rituals really get them from shelters? At least the shelter I got my kittens from , there was a pretty hefty fee. I feel like if someone was to use a cat for a ritual it'd just be easier to find one on the street. (not that I endorse it whatsoever)

I was wondering about that too because it is a bit much to pay just to use them for that. But also, the shelter I got them from had no screening process at all other than wanting to know my name and address, not even like any identification or anything.
