I never get chapped lips because I can't live without my chapstick and have to put it on as soon as I am done brushing my teeth. Sometimes though I run out or lose it soo .....

Ok this is what you do.
Get a baby tooth brush or a *soft* textured toothbrush from like the dollar store or whatever..
then slab on that chapstick and brush the dead skin off.

If you have alittle more cash than that and willing to brave the shopping mall, there is some really good stuff that the Body Shop sells and it's got like little grains of sand in it or something to exfoliate. You can probably find something similar at any make-up counter but I know the body shop's one works well.

my lips get super-chapped from the accutane i'm taking, and i bought everything from hemp balm to all-organic shite to tea tree oil stuff...i've found that overnight, carmex is the best, though it'll feel like you have two sets of lips on your face when you wake up. during the day, i use blistex complete moisture, which works really well, and doesn't taste too bad.

Pickup some B-complex vitamins at Sav-on.

Swollen, shiny, red, dry or cracked Lips can occur as a result of Vitamin B2 deficiency.

Splitting of the Lips can occur as a result of Vitamin B6 deficiency.

B-complex may also increase your energy level.

Chamomile (oil applied topically) alleviates dry Lips.
