know of an inexpensive hosting server for my domain? i dont want to go back to the one i used before.

you can host on my server for free. Colo'ed in an ISP in Texas, the box hasn't gone down yet except for about a month ago when we upgraded the server.

you sure? what would it take to crash your server? :oP

It would take a fair amount. We have about 120 users on there, at least half of whom are on constantly. Several domains are already hosted there.

How much traffic a day roughly are we talking about?

not much. actually, could i use it as a temp host? if so, what are the dns, and their numeric ips? and in how long could i have it up and running? i have to leave town in the morning, so i need to be done with it by tonight. id only need it until i got back in town. which is next week.

I use dreamhost.com, a touch more expensive, but worth the cost. It's run by some old friends of mine and the customer service is EXCELLENT.
