So, I called the repair shop this morning (for about the 10th time) to see if they'd made any progress on my guitar.  And was told that it could not be fixed.  Sigh. Sob

Talk to Barry when you're at GaFilk. (Someday I'll get to that one!) Guitar addict that he is, he might well know of a good one at an affordable price in a place no one else realizes exists.

Hmm. I have my well-loved Alvarez Yairi which has languished unplayed since I got the hard shell case for the Martin.

We also have an Epiphone 12-string with some interesting mods (brass bridge and nut) that we've been contemplating selling for some time now.

You are welcome to come by and try one or the other out and we can talk.

Unfortunately not at luggage checking prices (plus I don't have a good case for the 12-string at the moment).

We're due to host a house filk sometime soon, maybe you can come up and try it then.
