You are too sweet, but mostly what I'm trying to figure out is why the people that have me friended for bandom stuff arent commenting on the last few things I've posted. Is it that I've screwed up characterization? I'm getting too weird? (well, yes, but don't I always?) Or is it just the usual laziness about commenting, which I'm as guilty of as anyone.

I've been terrible with lj lately (as you can see from me commenting on a 2-day old post). There have actually been whole days lately where I *gasp* haven't checked my flist! Which is probably for the best because it can't be healthy to want to check it every hour on the hour. ;P

I could comment on the writing or general cracked-outedness of your bandom fic, but not the characterization since I don't know anything about it. I think everyone's going through a lull - maybe with spring people will perk back up?

I go through phases where I check my flist on my phone every time I go to the bathroom, then i'll go a week without checking, so I know how that goes. The real problem is Im comparing myself to other people, and wondering why they get more comments than I do - and the solution to that is to stop comparing myself. Most writers interact in other ways too, so people 'know' them and they feel guilty not commenting. That's not what I want; I want people to be so struck by my writing they feel like they have to say something. I just have to remind myself that I'd rather have one of those comments than a dozen , "we are friends and share this fandom therefore I'll say something nice" comments.

But if you'd be willing to give me feedback, probably the best for you to look at is Two for the Show- it's from two weeks ago, and I don't think you would need much background to get it, and it could probably use a Mary sue check.
