[ Just outside of Building 8, Naoto sits on a ledge with an umbrella over her shoulder. A few feet away, her Poliwag (yes, the Pokémon) splashes in the puddles, enjoying its outing. ]

[ ooc: Took a leaf out of L-mun's book and doing a real-time post. This is, finally, an attempt at making her interact with people. ]

Hello! Having a nice day? *nodding in greeting at the Poliwag too*

[ Looks up and smiles. The Pokémon chirps its greeting. ]

As nice a day as one can get in the rain.

[of_luck]

*sits a little ways away from Naoto*

The rain is quite wonderful when you haven't see one in awhile. *pauses in thought for a moment* I wonder if we'll be able to see a rainbow afterwards.

[naoto_two]

I agree. It rarely rains here, too.

[Looks over.]

I think a rainbow would be nice. I've only seen one once or twice.

[levi_a_than]

[ Padding past, finding the damp weather oddly comforting before pausing and blinking down at the Poliwag ]

[She tilts her head to one side and places a hand on her hip ]

What is that, exactly?

[naoto_two]

It's a tadpole. [ Pause. ] Well, I'm not really sure, but that's what my friends call it. I suppose it's from another world and was in the lake when they went tadpole hunting.

Its name is Sammy.

[levi_a_than]

[ Lowers herself at the knees to peer at the 'tadpole' more closely ]

Sammy the tadpole from another world... huh? [ Slight noise of amusement, though it's hard to tell if the noise is cynical or not ] Interesting. So things from other worlds are randomly shoved together here, is that correct?

[naoto_two]

Things and people, yes. [ Shifts on her seat, adjusting the umbrella. ] That seems to be the only certain aspect about this place. You never know what you'll find.

[saunturing_down]

*has spotted her as he was taking a leisurely glide, and has decided to drop in. Literally. Right next to her.*

Hey. Long time no see.

[naoto_two]

[Looks up as he descends, and smiles brightly.]

Crowley-san! How've you been? How's Aziraphale-san?

[saunturing_down]

*grins in return, plopping down next to her on the ledge*

Decent enough. Busy as hell, though. Az is alright...still working on organizing the last of his books, getting things back in order...

How about you? What've you been up to?

[naoto_two]

I'm not surprised. I've never seen so many books fit into one apartment. But that is reassuring, knowing you're well.

[ Turns to watch the Poliwag. ]

I've been fine, myself. Training, mostly. I try not to get involved in the drama on the network, so my days are pretty mundane.

[modern_truths]

*walking through the rain, hands jammed in his coat pockets, on the way back to Building 8. Notices Naoto and gives her a nod in her direction as a greeting*

[naoto_two]

[ Nods back. ] Good afternoon, Crane-san.

[modern_truths]

*walks over to her ledge, leans against it looking up at the sky*

Dreary today, isn't it?

[naoto_two]

[ She shrugs. ] I think it's refreshing. I like the sound the rain makes.
