Read the whole thing for the (fill in number here)th time yesterday. Was literally about to explode when my phone battery died on Chapter Four whilst out in the midst of horrid downtown pre-fireworks. I didn't know that many people even freaking LIVED in my town, much less wanted to all join each other on the streets and stand shoulder to effing shoulder for hours on end for some colored sparks in the sky.

THAT'S NEITHER HERE NOR THERE.

The point is... this story continues to fuel me. It continues to be one of the best things ever written, one of the most wonderful bits of writing I've ever enjoyed, and a favorite to the point of "goes to bed unable to think of anything else for a solid week."

I hope you really do understand my level of adoration, lol.

I was going through unread mail, and I found an alert to this comment.

I feel like such a fraud when I write... like I don't deserve the chance to try it... like I'm somehow taking up valuable space from writers who legitimately should be writing. Praise like this from someone like you just caves me in, lol. I can't even process it. My face burns and my eyes won't refocus on the page to confirm the words that you've typed there.

Thank you. I don't understand what you find there, but it's incineratingly kind of you. And if I can provide one gram of fuel, I'd write for fuckever, lol. I'd buy you oceans of fuel if I could. It's such incandescent joy to watch you burn through it :)
