The tostada variety found in sortof close to authentic restaurnts in my neck of the woods of Indiana looks like an open-face taco. By the time I got it, the shell underneath was all soggy from the meat sauce and stuff on top -- kind of turned me off and I didn't order it from that restaurant again.
