So people have been putting together groups for the future and talking about different Vocaloid cosplay, and it all made me realize that now might be a good time to try to organize this. ugh, I love this series to death and back, and would ever so enjoy the excuse to further my oh-god-costume-every-kaito-ever.

A friend of Ello's actually expressed some interest in doing Kaito shortly after the whole idea came up, but sadly, I wasn't there at the time, and didn't learn about it until this morning, but I think she was more interested in doing robed Kaito, if you wanted to take the version with the chaps, as since as far as I can tell from what I've seen/read, they play different roles in the storyline. Would you still be interested?

ahaha, more has developed. So Jacqui, Gamie, and I all like other characters and designs enough to want to do them at another time, so there will probably be a synchronicity group at Fanime 2011, in addition to the y-con 2010 group above, and if you would rather be the only Kaito for the Fanime group, rather than our chaps!Kaito only at Y-con, you are more than welcome, and have first dibs at that.

Kaito is pretty much definitely taken for both designs, but I would love to have you as Neru! :D

Edit: OH! um, were the wigs pretty decently priced for how nice they are in Japan? Or about how much were they in general? Because I really like Aubrey's Kaito wig, so if there was a nice Meiko wig like that....

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO HOW MANY EPIC PHOTOS THAT CAN BE STAGED WITH THIS GROUP.

Wigs were pretty much the same price as they are here for styled wigs; anywhere from $25 to $40 for short/medium, but if you wanted to get an unstyled wig, those are much cheaper; the 100cm wigs were $35.

lol my wig wouldn't need much styling anyway. xD But I'm interested in a beautiful Meiko wig!! ♥ ♥

well, by unstyled I mean unstyled. For example, I bought a 60cm wig to cut and style, and literally, it is unstyled. There are no bangs cut into it; all the strands are the same length, starting from the central point. The shorter wigs are a bit better about that; most of them just have long-ish bangs so that the bangs can be cut and styled how you want. Meiko's I could probably get you an unstyled wig for $23, easily.
