Movie reviews and general stuff
Well hubby and i rented 4 dvds yesterday. We unfortunately rented *Bug* and i am shocked that Ashley Judd would do something this awful. It's not worth a flip. Put The Fly and The Wickerman together and you might have something like this movie. It not only made me physically sick to my stomach but it just drug on forever, no action, no real plot synopsis, just nasty looking people and the feeling that you were being held at gun point the entire time it was on. Ugh MISTAKE people. On a better note, Evening with Hugh Dancy and Claire Dances was so touching and beautiful. It's such a sweet little story and this pair has such chemistry on screen together. I can see why they are a real couple. If you like things like The notebook or Driving Miss Daisy then you would probably like this movie. Then we watched Next with Nick Cage. I'll give it about a 7 on a one to ten scale. I would have rather had an actual viewable ending rather than the foolery but we got the general idea and it held it's own. I'm such a straight up person, not really fond of surprise endings so maybe some folks might be blown away by it. Ok and of course i had to rent Ioan's movie The TV Set. It was not funny like i thought it would be but i became very interested in it, just getting sort of behind the scenes look at how quirky little TV shows actually come to production. Ioan was not mis-cast but there was only so many ways this movie could go. Worth a watch but i know I'll enjoy Ioans next DVD, Amazing Grace, a lot more because it is epic like what he was born to star in. Annnnnnnnnnd Fantastic 4 ROTSS on DVD this coming week!!!!! Yay!!! more Ioan for me!!!!!!!! Yes Precious. Even though i already saw FF ROTSS in the theatre i must have more Ioan in that spandex lol...me bad i know. The only DVD i regret renting was BUG. Ugh stupid shit. Oh i heard Ryan Seacrest was at Ioan's wedding last week. Cool, that guy gets around everywhere. Have not seen any photos of Ryan there yet but sure some will surface eventually. Alice and Ioan looked smashing and cute. Loved the big kiss on the beach photo. She's a lucky gal. I think all of the actors i really adore are married well except Viggo and Orli lol. Ok i'm off to do breakfast.
