So, I know that I said that getting back to livejournal was on my list of things to do, but that was before my laptop decided to be a motherfucker and crap out. All is fixed, but I spend a fairly large amount of time with only marginal amounts of web access. Sorry about that ( Read more... )

Looking forward to your ruminations.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my guys Friday night. I found a place where we can meet for pasta -- but I haven't quite decided what the activities/discussion/teaching/whatnot will be.

The retreat got cancelled and scaled down to just a guy's night out. The guy who was supposed to host the retreat on his property in PA left the congregation.

I'm OK. Just heard from my half-sister that my grandfather passed. It's sad, but it's a good thing, too, because he was suffering and couldn't do the things he wanted. My mom's family's kind of imploding at the moment after those grandparents died, which isn't unexpected.

So, yeah. Keep on keeping on here.

My thoughts at the moment are social networking - the pros and cons of each site (FB, twitter and G+) and why I LJ, dreamwidth and blog...
Add to that my reaction of disgust at juvenile (and adult) deliquency in regards to the UK situation, and I'm thoughtful and angry and the same time. Posts regarding thoughts on both subjects is forthcoming.
