Who's still out there?

I know I haven't posted in roughly a million years, but are any of you still reading livejournal? If so, tell me how you are. I just got a message that made me think about posting again. What say you all?

Hello! I'd read. I'm less active, but that's because people I read are less active.

Howdy! You've been missed. I must say I'm not posting a lot but I read just about every day looking to see who is still around.

I'm status quo. Nothing new and exciting actually.

I am using FB more, only because David is there and we still mess around there. Still, I hate it.

I'm still reading. Presently at the Conference on the History of Women Religious where I heard a great talk on the Vatican's investigation of the LCWR.

Oooh. What did it say?

This conference is very tied to the LCWR so there's definitely a perspective that it's coming from, but the woman who spoke is on the LCWR. She mentioned that they were being accused of things that were not directly related to anything that they do, that statement of their speakers were taken completely out of context, and generally that the investigation was completely unfair (she didn't actually say that, but it was implied).

I'd like to see an update on your life. How am I? I'm fine, other than a little tendinitis and ... well, minor physical stuff, it's on my journal. Have gotten heavily into birding this year ... I'm learning to recognize birds by their songs, and have opened my eyes to many, many species I never knew were around me. It's fun. That's all.....
