perhaps you could find another book series to read?
I heartily enjoy the books by preston & child. they are more michael crichtonish, except more interesting.

Are they a series series? Like in order and all that? To me a series is just like a huge book. I read too fast so the idea of 2500 pages all about the same story is great. I'm cosidering The Chronicles Of Narnia. I will google your suggestions.

the cronicles! Paula loves those ones. she reads the whole series in a couple days!
Have you read lord of the rings? that might work too.. or for an easy fun read harry potter is good.

as for P&C they have sort of an ongoing character they use (kind of like clancy's jack ryan). It is the pendergast series and it would be: relic (which was made into a horribly bad movie - they removed a vital main character!), reliquary, cabinet of curiosities, still life with crows and brimstone. they have 2 more pendergast books planned. They also have some other ones that are quite good - mount dragon, the ice limit, rip tide, thunderhead

I did Lord of the Rings quite some time ago and I am up to date with Harry Potter. I never saw Relic but I heard it was bad. I will check out P&C. Where should I start? I think it's cool they are a tagteam.
