A mudblood touched me today. I'm not infected, am I?

.... wow.

I'm really sorry to hear that Narcissa... I'm sure Madam Pomfrey has a remedy but... how long ago was this? You should hurry before it becomes permanent!

No... I'm actually being serious with you, you need to go to the hospital wing now. This happened to a friend of mine in first year... she waited too long and- Well she's not here any longer.

Cissa,

Don't Panic! If you follow these steps you will be cured, and without an embarrassing trip to the Hospital wing. I suggest running around the common room in a circle three times. (This will ensure that any 'germs' fall off due to your fast running.

Also, you should probably put some pumpkin juice in your hair, wash it with it to get rid of everything. Did you know germs like hiding in hair?

If these don't work, I have a few more suggestions. Like jump out the window of the Astronomy tower for being so narrowminded.

Your loving Cousin,

Sirius

Sirius,

You're mean.

Besides, I already saw Madame Pomfrey. She told me to run it under cold water and I would be fine.

♥ Cissy.

How am I mean? I was just looking out for you. I read it in a book.

That isn't a book, Sirius. It's called 101 Cures, but there's a chapter on muggle infections.. Mother owled it to me to see if it would help.

You are kidding! How could you let them touch you? Did you at least go to the hospital wing and get checked out? Pomfrey might keep you there for a few nights to make sure you don't turn into one of them.

It was in Potions! I was reaching for my roots that someone had just cut up for me, and someone else reached at the same time!

Oh no, not in Potions!!!

You are lucky, just be sure to keep checking the mirror to make sure you do not transform.
