The Weekend

Jul 10, 2006 10:40

Sue was out of town this weekend, gone to visit her folks in Tennessee. I had the place all to myself. Muahahahaaa.
Only, I didn't do anything out of the normal.

Friday - didn't go see Pirates II - was gonna go over to Scott Richardson's little party after I finshed up my DC report. Got a call about 9 that there was no one over there.
Saturday - slow morning, finished up Chandra's prestige log for her to look over before she takes it with her to move to Washington. Lazy morning, but Saturday night was our local Requiem game.
Good points - Discussion about melding into water under a large waterfall, waking up feeling massaged.
- Scene with Leise - "Why did you travel so long with Oswald and the others but leave me?"
- Discussion with Jesse about claws and the opposite discussion with the local clan.
Bad points - The court didn't exist. People either quitting the cam AGAIN or reitiring characters and moving on to something new.
- My character just isn't social enough to interact with new people and visitors, so I miss out seeing and meeting new characters - might have to work on this one.
Afters was fun, even if chanticrow practically passed out at the table.

Sunday was Federer vs Nadal, good match, but it went the way I ultimately expected. Nadal just gets better and better, people better pick up their game if they want to compete with the two of them. Roddick - quit dating American starlets and work on your tennis, you disappoint.
Lunch was with a few out of towners before they left, very enjoyable. Mage game was fun, although I think I need something else to help tell the story, and I just don't know what it is. Everyone is in love with this game, but it hasn't clicked completely with me.
Sue returned home Sunday evening, and Scott came over for a bit before we went to see Pirates II. Worth seeing. The 4400 was watched after I returned home to find both girls asleep. It was enjoyable too, and I have to admit, I was surprised by who died.
And, by some of the other revelations in this episode.
