You don't expect your daughter to borrow your ipod and ask

Why does he want to shock the monkey?

I was at a loss for words.

I did go through and prune it some. My daughter likes Fiona Apple, so I took all of the questionable FA songs off of the iPod. I just didn't think of Shock the Monkey as a song to have to explain.

My favorite question (from a 4 yr old) was "when you get my sister, do we have to go live with the new daddy?"

After asking enough questions, I figured out that she thought a woman could only have two children by one man and then had to marry someone else if she wanted more babies.
