And your parents are silly, I drove a car without airbags for years. I even wrecked it and it was fine--if there had been airbags, I probably would have been much worse off.

I'm without vehicle as well, and boy oh boy, it sucks. Things will get better though. Perhaps you should look in to how to hotwire things? Or buy a scooter!
