One of the weird things about being back in this house (I am still reluctant to call it "home", because it really isn't..) is that my parents expect me to touch and talk with them, and expect to be allowed to touch me. I understand where your coming from and as a person who likes to give and receive hugs and doesn't mind touch, I have learned to back off some when it comes to personal space.
That said, after two decades with your immediate family I can see how it would be assumed by your parents that you are close enough with them to not be bothered by touch. In fact, it could be assumed that their touch is comforting.
Maybe it is time to admit or readmit your family into more aspects of your personal life. A little at a time of course.
