OK, does anyone have audio editing experience, of the speech variety, not the musical type?  If so, can someone please explain how the Hel they did this?

It's actually quite simple - just splice in the audio and replace certain phrases or parse them together and edit things out.

reminds me of a friend who said once to my "omg, you seen pollster" answreing with "did everyting but Texas just turn blue?????"

one can hope ;)

That's what I thought, until my lovely wife pointed out that doing that tends to create sound bytes that sound like they are edited (ie they sound disjointed and like they were made of various parts instead of a smooth flowing sentence).
