Cycle of the Werewolf

Stephen King’s Cycle of the Werewolf has always held a special place in my heart, I think because I was so young when I first read it and saw those glorious pictures. The illustrations really make the book, the text, standing on its own, wouldn’t be half so strong. Thank you for pointing out this out! "Really, no one thought to connect the boy’s tale of wounded werewolf with the reverend suddenly missing an eye?" Exactly.

This book didn't engage me on any real emotional level, though I enjoyed the basic story. It was just a casual read for me, in part because the people of the town seemed so passive and possibly stupid regarding the werewolf problem.

I didn't know there had been a film made -- now I'm definitely going to have to check it out. lol
