Happy Rocktober fourth, everybody. I have just been dazzled. While I love the horror genre to death, I find myself disappointed with a lot of its offerings. Last House on the Left and Fright Night were kinda meh, A Tale of Two Sisters was really good, but didn't grab me the way I like to be grabbed. October movie #4 was the Guillermo del Toro

I really liked that movie. Perfect example of how to do properly creepy modern Gothic horror without relying on gore.
