So, last night i finally watched the FMA movie. it was a bit more weird than i thought it would be, and the ending was MUCHO dissappointing. so overall, i'd like to say i'm dissatisfyed with the anime. maybe someday in the future i'll read the manga in hopes of having it all redeem its self, but until then, i'm offically done with FMA

I was not really impressed with the FMA movie either (or most of the end of the TV series, for that matter). The ending didn't actually bother me the way it did a lot of fans--because Ed and Al were reunited, and that's what was important to me--but the whole movie just kind of...fell flat. It had an interesting premise and a lot of potential, but unfortunately the director or writers or whoever just didn't do the job nearly as well as they could have. But oh well. And the manga is VERY different from the anime (plot-wise), just as a heads up.
I really need to see FLCL in it's entirety, considering the huge Gainax fan I consider myself to be. xD;; And I saw the first four episodes of Lain a loooooooong time ago, but I remember that it was a mindfuck.
