My awesome weekend in LA!
I had the best weekend and I am going to share it with you. (Well it's exciting for Supernatural fans anyways
This is a recount of the crazy adventure I had going to California for the weekend where I not only got absolutely no sleep and Jet lag, but I had an awesome time meeting some fans and meeting the cast of the best show, Supernatural. ^.^ (some things may be left out but this is not my fault. I wish I had a better memory but I don’t >.<)
Our story starts very very early on Friday morning. Nothing like the night before a convention. I’m all excited and so hopped up on adrenaline that I can’t really sleep. I finally somewhat fell asleep sometime after 2am. Then an unhappy moment happens. I was awaken with news, my flight was cancelled. O.O 3:45am! That can’t happen! Not the night before the con! I was now running around getting numbers together to call about it. Thankfully I was able to get a flight with very similar times going out of another airport. I took it! Since my flight was an hour earlier, I was scrambling to get my things together. Thankfully I got there in plenty of time. You’d think I’d fall asleep waiting for the plane to be ready but no, still the excitement was in the air.
Finally I board the plane. They said we would be a few minutes behind because there was frost or ice on wings or something but that didn’t take long. We got to St. Louis in decent time. While some of the passengers were being switched off for new ones, they said we might even get there early. (I was thankfully for this because the con was starting earlier in the day than I had originally thought. I need to mention that I don’t like that the schedule is posting at the last minute. Anyway…) In a few minutes we were off again and in a couple of hours I would be there. Then crap hit the fan.
Shortly after we had got back up in the air, a poor man on the back of the plane had some sort of medical emergency so we had to land the plane and let him off. I don’t think I’ll ever know if things turn out of for that family. Well, since we landed so quickly, something ended up being wrong with the fuel and/or oxygen level. (They never really explain things to passengers because they thing we’ll freak out or something. I’m way too curious though.)
So we were stuck on the ground for an hour before we continued. Then I ended up getting to La an hour or so late. When I got there, I went as fast as I could to the hotel. They wouldn’t let me in the room even though I had asked for early check-in. -.- Oh well I was already late so I just went on down to registration and dragged my crap with me to the first panel. (I missed Katherine Bocher’s panel so I’m sorry I don’t have any pictures of her. >.<)
Matt was already on stage when I went in but I quickly sat down and got my camera out. He said if he wrote an episode that it would just be him and JDM hunting, he also impersonated Amy in her role as Mary. He is in love with JDM. And now he’s going to play his son in a movie. O.o I wish I remembered more. >.<
Amy’s panel came on right after. She is so cute and such a fan girl. Lol She said that she also feel sort of maternal towards the boys and went on to say that is was also weird cause both Jared and Jensen are older than her. Lol She loved doing the real emotional scenes with Jensen and Jared, 4.03 promises not to go in Sam’s room, 5.13 finds out that she’s their mom. She that she also really liked doing the fight scenes. She wanted to be the one out there doing all that and not have a stunt doing it for her. And the scene with Anna was fun because she’s good friends with Julie McNiven.
After the panel, I talked for a minute with the people sitting next to me who got me the awesome ticket in row D. O.o They were sister’s from Pennsylvania and very sweet. I spent a lot of time at the con talking with them. Then, I finally got to go to my room. It was pretty nice in there. (Except the beds were not the best. My back hurt every morning. -.-) Then I got a hold of the two roommates I had and told them to come on up. They were nice people. I mean couldn’t I have spent longer than a weekend with them, probably not but it was good times and it made the hotel cost cheaper. (Only the one drove me a little crazy really but I don’t want to name names.) We decided we were hungry and to go get food before the next panel. I also needed glue because the bottle I was to bring with me was about .2oz too big and the security people took it from me. -.- this was quite a journey.
Not too far away from the hotel was a subway. Good eating for not that much. Then it was to find glue. We were looking for a place like CVS to quickly go in and out but we hadn’t seen anything. We asked a local and they said there was a Ralph’s (which is like Shoppers or the closest equivalent) not far up the street. This place was like an extra mile up the street. It took forever to get there and back but we did it. And now I was tired.
Exhausted I got to Steven Williams’ panel. Someone asked him about showbiz and tips and stuff. He replied by first saying that he was a model first ( O.O) and said that all you really need is passion. He said if you have passion for what you love you can get where you want to be. Well I’m not quoting him exactly but I hope you get the point. He said a lot of good things about it. He was just a real fun guy.
Up next was getting autographs from the guests. Katherine- she remembered me from Jersey which is hilarious since in Jersey I had brown hair and now I don’t so I said she had a good memory and she was all smilely about that. Next up was Steven and I said he was awesome and he said ‘Shut up, nah’ real cool guy and creation will probably ask him back because I think everyone really liked him. I told Matt about loving his role in NCIS (for those of you who don’t know he plays a young marine in it) and mention the vid that I made with the clip in it. I told him it was on youtube and he said he would check it out. Awesome! Amy was after that and I told her I loved her as Mary and that when I saw her on Bones I said ‘What is Mary doing’ and she laugh and said that maybe she should just legally change her name to Mary. lol
After that I finally had a chance sit down in my room and to eat the subway I bought. lol And then I watched the new episode which was awesome! I really did like it and how it was done. I freaked out at the end though. O.O
Right afterward before I had time to process anything, I had to run downstairs to see the Bryan Bucky band concert. They had a very cool sound and I actually kinda liked them. Jared and Gen introduced the band and they sat in the front of my section to watch the show. ^.^ It was sort of an Indie rock sound.
Jared!- so incredibly cute- It was a little unreal seeing Jared on stage. Being in row D I was looking right at him. It’s like I just saw you on tv cause Supernatural episode just aired and now you’re in front of my face. O.O
Kareoke - the best part was seeing the guests dancing together on the stage. Lol All of the guests that were there just looked like they fully enjoyed themselves.
So I was getting ready for Saturday, when I noticed a pain in my toe. I took off my sock and found my one toe was severally bruised and possibly broken. The nail was half off and I’ll spare you the details of the rest. I have no idea how it happened but it hurt really bad. All I could do was get some band-aids from the front desk and deal with it. >.<
Saturday came early considering I didn’t really get to sleep til after 2 and I woke up before my alarm around 7. O.o the beds were really uncomfortable is all I can say.
Lane, my lovely sister, texted me a little after I was awake and I went out to talk with her on the phone for awhile. We talk about the episode and what was happening and a bunch of stuff that no one really cares about. lol but after an hour or so I decided I needed to go get ready cause I had to by a few tickets before the day really started. ^.^
First item of the day, Jim Beaver panel. Highlights hmm….people kept sceaming like crazy fan girls when he took off his coat. Lol he said it doesn’t take much to please you people. He talked about serving three years in the marines which is something I didn’t know. A fan gave him a purple heart because of the line in the show where they said something about Bobby getting a medal. It was the same except wear George Washington’s face should be it was Kripke’s. Lol he liked it a lot. The bobby/rufus spin off show came up again by a fan. Jim said what would happen is that rufus would have to go on a vacation, (probably cause he would get on bobby’s nerves) and he would be in the hot tub with sheriff Mills. He really wants a love interest. He brought up something funny. He said isn’t it funny that her name is sheriff Mills and that’s my characters name on Harper’s Island? I love you Jim Beaver. ^.^
I had to run right out when it was finish to get my photo with Jim Beaver. Awesome! I was a bit nervous for some reason. But he was sweet. We had to take the picture a few times cause I blinked. And then he blinked on purpose. Lol The picture is great though.
On a side note I was upset by the dumb schedule because I missed Clif’s panel cause it was going on during my photo op. Dumb.
Well I went upstairs after that to change for the costume contest. I was Meg from 4.02. If you don’t remember what she looks like here. I made the mark of the witness out of glue and it looked quite good. (I’m stupid and don’t have a picture of it. >.<) Well I got done it time for the panel.
Richard and Traci had their panel together which was awesome! Traci came out first with her drum group. They were pretty awesome. We were all clapping along and she danced a bit. Then Richard came out and they did their panel from the audience. They just walking around the whole room and went to people that had questions. This was cool but made it hard to see since the screen they had were craptastic so I couldn’t see them when they were way behind me. Richard talked about working on band of brothers and paying tribute to a guy that died recently by jumping out an airplane. (I’ve anyone knows the name of that guy I’ll update my post) Traci had a great story about kissing Jensen in the episode Dark side of the moon. She said she was getting ready for the kiss by drinking good tea and making sure she didn’t have bad breathe. You know, common courtesy. Jensen prepare for this by sucking on a jolly rancher. She explained that she’s been on a no sugar diet so when she kissed him all that happened was she wanted the jolly rancher. Lol the way she says it anyone could have just sucked on the jolly rancher and she would have kissed them to taste the sugar. So funny the way she said it.
Costume Contest was a bit sad not just because I didn’t win anything, but it was unfair what people voted on. Like this one guy, I wish I had a picture was Lucifer with all the scars on his face and he was perfect. He didn’t win anything and he deserved it. The first place winners were really good though. They were young john and Mary and they were perfectly dressed down to the accessories. It was so cute. Second prize I didn’t care for. A girl dressed up like the metallicar is all black with chains and a replica of the license plate on her butt. -.- Don’t have anything to say about it that would be nice. Then there was two third place winners. A girl dressed like Cas who didn’t really try that hard. (In my opinion. I’m really weird about costumes so…) And then a girl dressed like Anna but she did a real good job. She looked a lot like Julie McNiven actually. So I didn’t win anything but I’m ok with that. I took a picture with a guy that dressed up like dean. I think he thought I was crazy but whatever. I was trying to recreate to scene that my character was from.
So I was a bit sad from that but I went out to the hall to get in line for Jim Beaver’s autograph. The line wasn’t too bad. I had heard stories about it taking forever cause he talks with everyone. But it wasn’t that bad. I talk with him a bit and I did not forget to ask him about going to Dragoncon for some friends who requested it. Lort_lemmy that’s you. Lol To my surprise he said ‘Hey you know what I just signed on for that.’ It was so exciting. I talked with him a bit about it. He said that he would probably just walk around and be a geek. I laughed and said well hey we could show you around since its big, four hotels. He sat back and said ‘FOUR HOTELS?’ lol well I said we would see him there. Awesome! ^.^
Afterward I had a short break cause my toe was swelling up from standing and I ate lunch while talk to lane again.
Mark panel was funny but I dont remember alot about what happened. I did remember a story he told about his daughter walking over to her mom and asking, 'where's your moose?' and her mother just pointed over to Mark. lol I thought that was funny.
Misha panel- After he sat down and the crown started to be quite he was staring up at this poster of Jared. He did that for a couple of minutes and then said ‘I’m sorry I didn’t know Jared was in and porno.’ Lol crazy fans O.o He talks alittle about random acts and auctioned off some chair backings from the set for the charity at the end of the panel. Your awesome Misha. Someone brought up the Cas voice and Misha said that its taking its toll on him. I believe someone wanted him to say something and he said I'm not Cas I can't do that right now, and this girl from the costume contest who was dressed as Cas said here I have your coat. Crazy girl. But Misha took the coat and said, 'Thanks how did you know I wore a size 2?' lol He did manage to wear it around his shoulders for a bit. lol
I went up to drop off stuff and I talked with my family on skype for a bit telling them about the con so far. And my mom was concerned about my toe of course. But I was beginning to get a bit hungry
So I went off to get new band-aids and mend what everyone thinks is a possible fracture in my toe. >.< Not too bad a mend for not having good materials. Then I went to have dinner is a place that was in the hotel. It was a bit more than I would want to pay but it was just what I wanted and I didn’t have to walk far. I had didn’t by myself though. ; ; everyone had already gone off to eat.
Then I got my autographs from Traci, Richard, and Misha. And yes I remembered to tell Misha that my group would see him at Dragoncon. And he said group, what kind of group is this a gang or something, sure I be worried? And I was like maybe. Lol no but he made a little fist is the air like ‘yes’ so that was awesome.
I hung out afterward with people for awhile and then decided that I was too tired to go to the dessert thing. I’m ok with it though. I got to take an awesome shower and well try to rest cause I knew that breakfast the next day would come early. I would have to be down there ready for the day at 8am. O.o
Sunday- the big day
I got up early to get ready. I was trying to psych myself up for it. Lol actually I was fine. I was just excited not nervous at all. It was nice I was at table 4 which is pretty close to the front cause the sisters I got the tickets from got the upgrade last year when they were at La. Cool huh? So I got some good pictures. I don’t remember everything that was said. Sadly that how these things are, you only remember some things. I will say this a quote from Jared, ‘Never confuse Taylor Lautner with harry potter.’ Lol And Jensen said this story about this new dog and He and Danneel have. It’s a golden retriever/poodle mix. It’s called a ‘golden doodle’ lol that’s what he said anyway. Jared shook his head at him. Anyway he had a story about the dog cause it got really sick when they left it at a kennel or wherever they left it over the Christmas holiday. It turns out that it had a condition I forget what it’s called but its where the dogs bones grow faster than the rest of him. Something like that. Well he ended saying that the treatment for it is very expensive so most people can’t afford it so they have to put the animals down. He said I think that why we got him cause I can afford the treatment. Got to love Jensen. ^.^
After the breakfast it was photo op time. I had one with Jensen first. I asked for a hug and it was so gentle. It was just kind of funny but cute. I love the picture it turned out great.
While I was waiting for my Jared photo, I talked with a lady I was in line with for awhile. Turns out shes going to Dragoncon. ^.^ We exchanged emails so I hope to see her there. She was cool. I showed her my journal and she was very impressed and said that I should show the guys. More on that later.
Jared’s photo op was somewhat the opposite of Jensen’s. I ask if I could have a hug and before I knew it I was in this ‘gigantor’ hug with my body pressed to his. Yep that what I said. I am a little sad about the picture because I’m not looking straight on but I’m told its cute anyway. You decide. I do still like the picture.
Then the big panel with J2 happened. So much happened but I will just give you a little bit because I could not remember everything. They talked about the western episode but then again they didn’t. I think they are all very excite about it but don’t want to spoil us. Also surprise! One of the directors on the show Guy Bee was there. (He directed Asylum and I don’t know what else at the moment.) But he is the one that directed the western episode and Jensen said he did a good job so. *thumbs up* Someone asked them about being nervous about kissing girls on the show and they gave like the best answer. Jensen spoke for Jared and he said that they both are much more concerned with how the girl in the scene is. He said that if there’s a scene where the girl is half naked or something (my choice of words) they basically kick everyone out that doesn’t need to be there to be fair to her and make her more comfortable. In his words, ‘its not a show, lets give her some privacy.’ Jensen is such a gentleman. You too Jared I know you were nodding the whole time in agreement. ^.^ Someone did bring up the lack of classic rock that’s been going on this season and they said that it has to do with budget but because we fan want it so bad they are going to try and remedy that. So we can look forward to more awesome music in the future. On a lighter note someone asked what they would name each others kids. I don’t remember if Jared said anything about Jensen’s but Jensen said, well if I know Jared well and I do he would have three kids, Jared nods, a boy and then two girls, Jared nods, and their names would be Jared 1, Jared 2 and Jared 3, Jared nods again. Lol Oh boys so full of love. And I have a short clip that I shot. All you need to know it that at the very beginning of the panel Jared’s chair broke and that the question was what was their favorite beer. ( I wish I know what they were going to say before they said it so I could have recorded the funnier stuff but this is what I got.
The J2 autograph was up next. I felt very rushed through Jensens for some reason and his guard people were intimidating. But I did talk about how I liked his directing and how he had and I for it and that I hope he can direct something again. That was it but it was good. Then Jared’s. I told him that one of my favorite performances from him was swan song. I think he seemed happy I said so. And I got to show him my journal. Here’s a picture of the pages I showed him. (and he touched them.) He was pretty speechless which what such a complement. He didn’t seem to know what to say he just kept a big smile on his face and said wow a couple of times. ^.^ Guy Bee, the director, was standing behind him and he also saw it. He seemed impressed too. They also said to each other something along the lines of ‘Chris Cooper should see this.’ (I like that’s the name they said. If someone knows who that is please tell me.) Well having that response just made me feel awesome lets just say that.
While Jensen and Jared were still signing Jim Beaver came out on stage again as a surprise and answer more questions. He talked about how his favorite scenes to do are the real emotional ones. His examples were Dead Men don’t wear Plain and the scene from AHBL Part 2 with Jensen in the junk yard. Then this was the funniest thing. Someone brought up something that Jim Beaver could do an impression of Jared. He said he hadn’t heard of that. He was thinking and then he said Jared… like he was thinking how to do it and then Jared shouted something from behind the curtain in a rough bobby-like voice. Jim was like see I’m good. Then someone said do Jensen probably to see if Jensen would do the same thing and he did. Then they both started going back and forth saying things in a bobby voice. It ended like this, Jensen: ‘you idjits’, Jared: ‘where’s my medamusal’, Jensen:’ where’s the toilet paper’. Then Jim had to go behind the curtain and teach his boys a lesson. Lol It was the funniest thing, I was laughing so hard. Jim said ‘this is what its like every time I have a scene.’ I thought this might be the closest thing to know what they are like on set.
Last but not least Brock Kelly came out on stage. He was like a little boy compared to everyone else. Lol He just seemed nervous I think. But he was fun. Hmm someone asked him what superhero he would want to play and he said Gambit. He said that he wanted the role when the wolverine movie came out before but he didn’t get it. Then someone ask him if he could do the accent and he said a couple of lines and didn’t do that bad. Throughout the panel he kept saying things like he just like getting to kiss girls on sets and he got in all kinds of trouble at school and then a girl got up and said you know your sounding more and more like a young Dean. Lol she was right. Oh and someone asked him if he could act out a scene in the show that hadn’t been done yet what would it be. He said that he would love to do the scene where Sam leaves for college. It would be sad but it is an important part of Sam and dean relationship. So that was cool.
While his panel was happening, Geneiveve came in to sign autographs. She is the most adorable person. I think everyone said that she should actually attend the cons. Well I asked her a few questions and she was nice enough to answer. And I said that I really liked her on Flashforward.
I really didn’t know what to say to Brock so since he had mentioned in his panel that he favored Playstation over XBOX I asked if he know about uncharted (big fan of uncharted) and he said Drake’s Fortune? So I was like awesome he’s an uncharted fan. He hasn’t play the second one yet but its on his list.
After that it was sadly pretty much over. I went to pick up my photo op pictures and then got a big dinner with my friend who lives in California. My plane ride back was nice cause it was nonstop but there were these kids behind me that kept kicking my chair. -.- I wanted to sleep. Oh well. I had the best weekend. And now I’m back to reality. I know this because I had to wake up early and take a huge test. Lol That’s all folks.

First item of the day, Jim Beaver panel. Highlights hmm….people kept sceaming like crazy fan girls when he took off his coat. Lol he said it doesn’t take much to please you people. He talked about serving three years in the marines which is something I didn’t know. A fan gave him a purple heart because of the line in the show where they said something about Bobby getting a medal. It was the same except wear George Washington’s face should be it was Kripke’s. Lol he liked it a lot. The bobby/rufus spin off show came up again by a fan. Jim said what would happen is that rufus would have to go on a vacation, (probably cause he would get on bobby’s nerves) and he would be in the hot tub with sheriff Mills. He really wants a love interest. He brought up something funny. He said isn’t it funny that her name is sheriff Mills and that’s my characters name on Harper’s Island? I love you Jim Beaver. ^.^
I had to run right out when it was finish to get my photo with Jim Beaver. Awesome! I was a bit nervous for some reason. But he was sweet. We had to take the picture a few times cause I blinked. And then he blinked on purpose. Lol The picture is great though.
On a side note I was upset by the dumb schedule because I missed Clif’s panel cause it was going on during my photo op. Dumb.
Well I went upstairs after that to change for the costume contest. I was Meg from 4.02. If you don’t remember what she looks like here. I made the mark of the witness out of glue and it looked quite good. (I’m stupid and don’t have a picture of it. >.<) Well I got done it time for the panel.
Richard and Traci had their panel together which was awesome! Traci came out first with her drum group. They were pretty awesome. We were all clapping along and she danced a bit. Then Richard came out and they did their panel from the audience. They just walking around the whole room and went to people that had questions. This was cool but made it hard to see since the screen they had were craptastic so I couldn’t see them when they were way behind me. Richard talked about working on band of brothers and paying tribute to a guy that died recently by jumping out an airplane. (I’ve anyone knows the name of that guy I’ll update my post) Traci had a great story about kissing Jensen in the episode Dark side of the moon. She said she was getting ready for the kiss by drinking good tea and making sure she didn’t have bad breathe. You know, common courtesy. Jensen prepare for this by sucking on a jolly rancher. She explained that she’s been on a no sugar diet so when she kissed him all that happened was she wanted the jolly rancher. Lol the way she says it anyone could have just sucked on the jolly rancher and she would have kissed them to taste the sugar. So funny the way she said it.
Costume Contest was a bit sad not just because I didn’t win anything, but it was unfair what people voted on. Like this one guy, I wish I had a picture was Lucifer with all the scars on his face and he was perfect. He didn’t win anything and he deserved it. The first place winners were really good though. They were young john and Mary and they were perfectly dressed down to the accessories. It was so cute. Second prize I didn’t care for. A girl dressed up like the metallicar is all black with chains and a replica of the license plate on her butt. -.- Don’t have anything to say about it that would be nice. Then there was two third place winners. A girl dressed like Cas who didn’t really try that hard. (In my opinion. I’m really weird about costumes so…) And then a girl dressed like Anna but she did a real good job. She looked a lot like Julie McNiven actually. So I didn’t win anything but I’m ok with that. I took a picture with a guy that dressed up like dean. I think he thought I was crazy but whatever. I was trying to recreate to scene that my character was from.
So I was a bit sad from that but I went out to the hall to get in line for Jim Beaver’s autograph. The line wasn’t too bad. I had heard stories about it taking forever cause he talks with everyone. But it wasn’t that bad. I talk with him a bit and I did not forget to ask him about going to Dragoncon for some friends who requested it. Lort_lemmy that’s you. Lol To my surprise he said ‘Hey you know what I just signed on for that.’ It was so exciting. I talked with him a bit about it. He said that he would probably just walk around and be a geek. I laughed and said well hey we could show you around since its big, four hotels. He sat back and said ‘FOUR HOTELS?’ lol well I said we would see him there. Awesome! ^.^
Afterward I had a short break cause my toe was swelling up from standing and I ate lunch while talk to lane again.
Mark panel was funny but I dont remember alot about what happened. I did remember a story he told about his daughter walking over to her mom and asking, 'where's your moose?' and her mother just pointed over to Mark. lol I thought that was funny.
Misha panel- After he sat down and the crown started to be quite he was staring up at this poster of Jared. He did that for a couple of minutes and then said ‘I’m sorry I didn’t know Jared was in and porno.’ Lol crazy fans O.o He talks alittle about random acts and auctioned off some chair backings from the set for the charity at the end of the panel. Your awesome Misha. Someone brought up the Cas voice and Misha said that its taking its toll on him. I believe someone wanted him to say something and he said I'm not Cas I can't do that right now, and this girl from the costume contest who was dressed as Cas said here I have your coat. Crazy girl. But Misha took the coat and said, 'Thanks how did you know I wore a size 2?' lol He did manage to wear it around his shoulders for a bit. lol
I went up to drop off stuff and I talked with my family on skype for a bit telling them about the con so far. And my mom was concerned about my toe of course. But I was beginning to get a bit hungry
So I went off to get new band-aids and mend what everyone thinks is a possible fracture in my toe. >.< Not too bad a mend for not having good materials. Then I went to have dinner is a place that was in the hotel. It was a bit more than I would want to pay but it was just what I wanted and I didn’t have to walk far. I had didn’t by myself though. ; ; everyone had already gone off to eat.
Then I got my autographs from Traci, Richard, and Misha. And yes I remembered to tell Misha that my group would see him at Dragoncon. And he said group, what kind of group is this a gang or something, sure I be worried? And I was like maybe. Lol no but he made a little fist is the air like ‘yes’ so that was awesome.
I hung out afterward with people for awhile and then decided that I was too tired to go to the dessert thing. I’m ok with it though. I got to take an awesome shower and well try to rest cause I knew that breakfast the next day would come early. I would have to be down there ready for the day at 8am. O.o
Sunday- the big day
I got up early to get ready. I was trying to psych myself up for it. Lol actually I was fine. I was just excited not nervous at all. It was nice I was at table 4 which is pretty close to the front cause the sisters I got the tickets from got the upgrade last year when they were at La. Cool huh? So I got some good pictures. I don’t remember everything that was said. Sadly that how these things are, you only remember some things. I will say this a quote from Jared, ‘Never confuse Taylor Lautner with harry potter.’ Lol And Jensen said this story about this new dog and He and Danneel have. It’s a golden retriever/poodle mix. It’s called a ‘golden doodle’ lol that’s what he said anyway. Jared shook his head at him. Anyway he had a story about the dog cause it got really sick when they left it at a kennel or wherever they left it over the Christmas holiday. It turns out that it had a condition I forget what it’s called but its where the dogs bones grow faster than the rest of him. Something like that. Well he ended saying that the treatment for it is very expensive so most people can’t afford it so they have to put the animals down. He said I think that why we got him cause I can afford the treatment. Got to love Jensen. ^.^
After the breakfast it was photo op time. I had one with Jensen first. I asked for a hug and it was so gentle. It was just kind of funny but cute. I love the picture it turned out great.
While I was waiting for my Jared photo, I talked with a lady I was in line with for awhile. Turns out shes going to Dragoncon. ^.^ We exchanged emails so I hope to see her there. She was cool. I showed her my journal and she was very impressed and said that I should show the guys. More on that later.
Jared’s photo op was somewhat the opposite of Jensen’s. I ask if I could have a hug and before I knew it I was in this ‘gigantor’ hug with my body pressed to his. Yep that what I said. I am a little sad about the picture because I’m not looking straight on but I’m told its cute anyway. You decide. I do still like the picture.
Then the big panel with J2 happened. So much happened but I will just give you a little bit because I could not remember everything. They talked about the western episode but then again they didn’t. I think they are all very excite about it but don’t want to spoil us. Also surprise! One of the directors on the show Guy Bee was there. (He directed Asylum and I don’t know what else at the moment.) But he is the one that directed the western episode and Jensen said he did a good job so. *thumbs up* Someone asked them about being nervous about kissing girls on the show and they gave like the best answer. Jensen spoke for Jared and he said that they both are much more concerned with how the girl in the scene is. He said that if there’s a scene where the girl is half naked or something (my choice of words) they basically kick everyone out that doesn’t need to be there to be fair to her and make her more comfortable. In his words, ‘its not a show, lets give her some privacy.’ Jensen is such a gentleman. You too Jared I know you were nodding the whole time in agreement. ^.^ Someone did bring up the lack of classic rock that’s been going on this season and they said that it has to do with budget but because we fan want it so bad they are going to try and remedy that. So we can look forward to more awesome music in the future. On a lighter note someone asked what they would name each others kids. I don’t remember if Jared said anything about Jensen’s but Jensen said, well if I know Jared well and I do he would have three kids, Jared nods, a boy and then two girls, Jared nods, and their names would be Jared 1, Jared 2 and Jared 3, Jared nods again. Lol Oh boys so full of love. And I have a short clip that I shot. All you need to know it that at the very beginning of the panel Jared’s chair broke and that the question was what was their favorite beer. ( I wish I know what they were going to say before they said it so I could have recorded the funnier stuff but this is what I got.
The J2 autograph was up next. I felt very rushed through Jensens for some reason and his guard people were intimidating. But I did talk about how I liked his directing and how he had and I for it and that I hope he can direct something again. That was it but it was good. Then Jared’s. I told him that one of my favorite performances from him was swan song. I think he seemed happy I said so. And I got to show him my journal. Here’s a picture of the pages I showed him. (and he touched them.) He was pretty speechless which what such a complement. He didn’t seem to know what to say he just kept a big smile on his face and said wow a couple of times. ^.^ Guy Bee, the director, was standing behind him and he also saw it. He seemed impressed too. They also said to each other something along the lines of ‘Chris Cooper should see this.’ (I like that’s the name they said. If someone knows who that is please tell me.) Well having that response just made me feel awesome lets just say that.
While Jensen and Jared were still signing Jim Beaver came out on stage again as a surprise and answer more questions. He talked about how his favorite scenes to do are the real emotional ones. His examples were Dead Men don’t wear Plain and the scene from AHBL Part 2 with Jensen in the junk yard. Then this was the funniest thing. Someone brought up something that Jim Beaver could do an impression of Jared. He said he hadn’t heard of that. He was thinking and then he said Jared… like he was thinking how to do it and then Jared shouted something from behind the curtain in a rough bobby-like voice. Jim was like see I’m good. Then someone said do Jensen probably to see if Jensen would do the same thing and he did. Then they both started going back and forth saying things in a bobby voice. It ended like this, Jensen: ‘you idjits’, Jared: ‘where’s my medamusal’, Jensen:’ where’s the toilet paper’. Then Jim had to go behind the curtain and teach his boys a lesson. Lol It was the funniest thing, I was laughing so hard. Jim said ‘this is what its like every time I have a scene.’ I thought this might be the closest thing to know what they are like on set.
Last but not least Brock Kelly came out on stage. He was like a little boy compared to everyone else. Lol He just seemed nervous I think. But he was fun. Hmm someone asked him what superhero he would want to play and he said Gambit. He said that he wanted the role when the wolverine movie came out before but he didn’t get it. Then someone ask him if he could do the accent and he said a couple of lines and didn’t do that bad. Throughout the panel he kept saying things like he just like getting to kiss girls on sets and he got in all kinds of trouble at school and then a girl got up and said you know your sounding more and more like a young Dean. Lol she was right. Oh and someone asked him if he could act out a scene in the show that hadn’t been done yet what would it be. He said that he would love to do the scene where Sam leaves for college. It would be sad but it is an important part of Sam and dean relationship. So that was cool.
While his panel was happening, Geneiveve came in to sign autographs. She is the most adorable person. I think everyone said that she should actually attend the cons. Well I asked her a few questions and she was nice enough to answer. And I said that I really liked her on Flashforward.
I really didn’t know what to say to Brock so since he had mentioned in his panel that he favored Playstation over XBOX I asked if he know about uncharted (big fan of uncharted) and he said Drake’s Fortune? So I was like awesome he’s an uncharted fan. He hasn’t play the second one yet but its on his list.
After that it was sadly pretty much over. I went to pick up my photo op pictures and then got a big dinner with my friend who lives in California. My plane ride back was nice cause it was nonstop but there were these kids behind me that kept kicking my chair. -.- I wanted to sleep. Oh well. I had the best weekend. And now I’m back to reality. I know this because I had to wake up early and take a huge test. Lol That’s all folks.
I have alot more pictures of all of them so I might put them up somewhere else where it doesn;t take as much time.
