The Wait Poem

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly, God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate …
And the Master so gently said,”Wait.”

“Wait? You say wait?” my indignant reply.
“Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!”
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?

Amen! Isaiah 55:8-9 answers it all.
I keep on wondering, why is it so hard for us to place our full confidence in God even though we know that He's sovereign?..To trust His heart and His plans seems to be very difficult, as if we know exactly what to do...In line with this, I think Romans 8:28 is also a good verse to uphold "We know that in all things God works for good WITH THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, those whom He called according to His purpose." :D

I think it's hard for us because we're time-bound, and we get impatient. (At least, I think that's very true for me. =) )
