CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: RipRap

FICTION | CREATIVE NON-FICTION | POETRY
Published annually since 1979 by the MFA Creative Writing
program at CSULB, RipRap features Fiction, Poetry, and Creative
Non-Fiction.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
FICTION: Submit up to 2 stories. Do not exceed a combined total of 30 pages or
7,000 words. Double space throughout, and include the title and page number on
each page.
CREATIVE NON-FICTION: Submit up to 2 essays. Do not exceed a combined total of
30 pages or 7,000 words. Double space throughout, and include the title and page
number on each page.
POETRY: Submit up to 5 poems. Do not exceed a combined total of 10 pages. For
poems over 1 page, include a header with the poem title and page number on each
page.
Submit a COVER LETTER that includes your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, E-MAIL
ADDRESS, WORD COUNT, and the TITLE of each submission. Please type all work
using a standard font (Times New Roman or Courier). We will not accept
submissions via E-mail. Include a SASE so that we may send a response.
Submissions will not be returned. YOUR NAME SHOULD NOT APPEAR ON ANY
SUBMISSION, ONLY ON YOUR COVER LETTER.
DEADLINE: Thursday, December 15th, 2005
