I got a message today on OKCupid from a sunnyday06, also known as the unsurprisingly single Mr. Gary Voss, 38-year-old taxi company owner from East Lansing, Michigan. I do not know this man and he clearly does not know me.

Entitled 'Eliza Doolittle', it said:

Hey gal! What a dick! When Jano and I were over there, we ended up doing and saying the same things just to be understood.

You've got loads of support here, so, as easy as it is to say, but as hard as it is to do, try to ignore him!

Things are good around here. I've just been busy with my new job - after the evil place. :) I tore my freaking calf muscle bustin' the james brown dance move! haha. It sucks, but I'm dealing.

I'm strangely amused that I've managed to stumble on a part of LJ where almost everyone seems to be on OKCupid.

Anyway, It bothers me that there are so many creeps on that site as I've never had the slightest bitchy comment from a woman on there and yet I keep hearing regular stories of hideous men either being extremely insulting or demanding to "cyber" immediately. I can only apologise for my gender.

No need. I've been contacted by many intelligent, interesting, and polite men (and women) on OKCupid. They just don't make for humorous anecdotes. :)
