The White Demon
Basically, I'm just trying to advertise a story of mine. I guess that's not what you are supposed to do in these communities, but I really have no idea how lj works. Please, if you have knowledge and care to share some of it, hit me up.
Anyways, about my Narnian story: The White Demon.
I am rather proud of how it is going so far - though, really, there are only two chapters up so far. It is posted on FanFiction.net (click here for direct link to the prologue). Here's the summary/hook I have: She tries to blink the tears away. Now is not the time for crying, for showing any sign of weakness. There are people dying around her. Now, whenever she thinks of evil, she will always see Narnia.
"She" in this case is an OC I created named Xenia. She is a "princess" of a small-ass kingdom called Curel on a mountain they named Tamahina in the far north, past Ettinsmoor. (The Cureans don't really support titles of that sort, though. With the exception of calling the head honcho "chief.") She is 17-years-old and is betrothed to a guy named Derik, who is (NOTE! I am only stating what the readers would know from reading the prologue and Ch1.) 18-years-old. Xenia's father is was Chief Andin, but he was murdered by a Narnian general that lead a massacre on Curel.
This is so beyond boring. I really do urge you to go read the actual story, because it is so much more interesting that my summarizations. Really, it is.
So I'll stop talking now. I want a bowl of Cheerios or something.
