OMG! 2ND PART Chapter 2!!!

May 20, 2007 20:34

So I have finished the second part of Chapter 2. It's really short though. Well I was grounded and that's why I haven't updated in like forever. But anyway. Here it is.

Caleb looked at the bottom of the stairs and met Pogue’s eyes. Caleb nodded to him and got up and placed the book on his chair.

“What’s that? Pogue asked, seeing the old book on the chair.

“ That is a book of spells I found a while back. I found something that may help us with Riann,” Caleb replied.

“Why would you want to help her?” Reid said, nearly shouting.

“Why? Reid why wouldn’t I? I have finely gotten over Sarah because of one of her friends. And frankly I don’t want to give up that felling of liking someone again. And I know you have feelings for Riann.”

Reid sighed, and sat down.

“What’s it say?” Tyler asked.

“It’s a counter spell which I guess it should work. We’d just have to try,” Caleb said as his phone started to vibrate. He took it out of his pocket and checked the id. When he saw it was Lea calling, he answered it saying, “Hey what’s happening? Oh, Okay we’ll be there in a few minutes.”
Caleb looked to his friends. “That was Lea. She said that Riann had woken up,” he said putting the book back, “We should go.”

They got up and ran up the stairs. Caleb got into his mustang as Pogue, Tyler, and Reid got into Tyler’s hummer. Caleb was the first to pull out closely followed by the others. What usually would have taken an hour, took them forty-five minutes to reach the hospital. They walked up the stairs to Riann’s room and saw Lea and Pagan outside along with Will and Wyatt. Caleb and the others walked up to them and smiled.

“Lea, she’s okay?” Caleb asked looking her in the eye.

“Yeah, she woke up and started talking to Wyatt while Uncle Will called us. It’s crazy.”

Taylor came out of Riann’s room and looked at Reid, “She wants to talk to you.”

Reid looked at Lea who nodded. Reid walked forward and opened the door. When he walked in he found Riann sitting up and eating her lunch. She smiled when she saw him.

“You wanted to see me?” he asked, sitting on the chair beside the bed.

“Yeah,” she half smiled, “Reid I’m going away for a while.”

“What?” Reid asked shock clear in his voice, “Why? Where are you going?”

“Salem, until I get better.”

“I can’t you stay here? With me?”

“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you. It’s a complicated thi..”

“Whatever,” Reid said, cutting her off and stormed out of the room slamming the door, not caring it was a hospital.

Lea looked behind her as Reid stalked past her and Caleb. She broke away from Caleb’s embrace and chased after him.

“Reid!” she yelled. He sped up to only stop suddenly not knowing why he did. As soon as he felt the feeling it was gone and Lea was right there facing him. She looked him in the eye. Reid tried his best to avoid her gaze.

“Reid, listen to me. She’s not doing this to leave. I’m making her go,”

“Why the hell would you do that?” he snapped, his anger rising, the power itching inside of him to be used.

“Because Reid, she in danger. I can’t go into full detail about it, but the other girls and I are being followed by the descendent of one of the families that originally settled Salem with our families. Her family was banished thought to have died shortly afterward. But they didn’t and now she’s seeking revenge for her family after three-hundred years. Reid, if she stays here with you, you’ll be in danger. Along with Caleb, Tyler, and Pogue. I’m staying here at Spencer’s while the other go back to my families manor to stay for a while until I think it is safe. We don’t want to put you guys in danger. It’s happened to someone I cared for before, I don’t won’t that to happen again. ”

“Why don’t you call the police?”

“ Because we can’t. Reid this is way beyond the police. They can’t get involved with us.”
Reid sighed and opened Tyler’s hummer door and got in. He started it up and drove past Lea and Caleb as he walked up to her.

“Let him cool down and he’ll be fine.”

“It’s not him I’m extremely worried about.”
