So, I gave in. Sure did. Not hard when you have two great friends convincing you to do something.;)
I suppose I'm gonna use this journal mostly to track my writing progress - and maybe a bit of my projects on the side - so here's a short list of things I'm working on right now - and their status. It's gonna be a long year, next one.;)
The Final Day (urban angel fantasy)
Status: first draft finished (50k), some plans laid out
Necessary: change the main character's name
change the main supportive character's sex
finalize the designs for the Clans
rewrite the scenes with new background and MSC's sex :facepalm:
send off the second draft to my many betas
"Adrian" [Z5/2] (historic fantasy, mostly with lots of ships, tech level: 18th century, original world)
Status: second draft finished in handwriting (123 A4pages) :facepalm:
Necessary: type out the whole thing :facepalm:
finalize the world design
do quite a bit of research on 17th/18th century sailing techniques
refine some of the characters
rewrite problematic parts (there's gonna be a lot of them)
send off the third draft to betas
"Creation" (near-future self-sentient android)
Status: 4/5 of the first draft (close to 50k of the 75k planned)
Necessary: write the hardest scene
write the ending couple of chapters
finalize the background and write it in
send off the second draft to betas
The [Z5/1] & [Z5/3] novels (fantasy, original world)
Status: brainstorming
Necessary: brainstorm them both to the end
harmonize the three novels - one world through cca. one thousand years - through the plot background
finalize the characters
find the time
write the outlines
start writing ;)
Wolves♥Trilogy (werewolf steampunk/urban fantasy/postapocaliptic SF)

Necessary: brainstorm till my brain pops
devise a plan for the whole thing
