i have no freakin idea. i just kinda woke up one morning and really felt like it. thought about it for a week, and then left.

needless to say, i'm a little bit in shock at how transposable my life appears to be, but happy, so that's good.

Out of curiosity, how did you just 'start' an MA? Did an offer just materialize out of the ether or did you have to apply?

Oh, and what school are you at?

PS - since you're now an English grad student and all... can you edit a 2-page personal statement for me - I'm just looking for general feedback, not grammar'n'shit; me is pretty good at those already
