WTF?

There is a tsunami warning for California tonight. There was an earthquake in northern Cal. this evening and a warning was just issue.

I really don't know what else to say about that. Just kind of shocking. I am just glad there is a hill between me and the ocean.

Yeah, well, the warning is for the entire west coast from Mexico to Victoria, and there's a watch from Victoria to Alaska.

Personally I think it's just the government pulling a CYA move just in case something goes down. Every since 9/11, it's been a terrorism hair trigger, and since the SE Asia tsunami, it's been a tsunami hair trigger.

I missed the whole west coast thing. A warning interupted the Bball game. You do have to figure big brother is a little cautious with the disaster in Asia.

No, it is for all of the western coast. I think it may have passed by now though.
