Going to a friends house today for Sangria Sunday. Whee, I love it. It's beautiful here in Seattle, but I would really appreciate some cooler temperatures. Maybe even a little rain? Just sayin.
It really has been hot here, it's starting to cool a little today, only supposed to be 84*, and down to, like 77* later in the week with (yay!) possible rain by saturday!!! The sangria and friends were both perfect! ;D
I live in Virginia. It's been over 90 here for a week and 1/2, and the air is thick and sticky. Thank God for the air conditioner.
One of my dogs is a pure Siberian Husky too. She needs AC, a fan, and to be thuroughly brushed so her undercoat comes out. Amd my wife wonders why she loves me so much...
My Great Grandmother was from Virginia, I've never been there, but she used to tell us stories about growing up on a cotton plantation while she was still alive. uch great stories. I know that the weather over a large portion of the United States is much worse than here in Washington, but face it, we are major wimps here. Oh, your poor puppy, he's so lucky to have you for a Daddy. My cats are as wimpy as I am, they have been puddles since the weather got hot.
