East coast road trip

It would be imposible to accurately describe half of what we saw or did with any amount of justice.  Sometimes "wow" doesn't even begin to cover it, and these would be one of those times.

So instead, I give you a small few of the visual highlights:

Moose Catchers along the TransCanada highway in New Brunswick

Reversing Tides, St. John, New Brunswick.  The converging tides made little whirlpools all over.  Unfortunately, because of all the seasonal snow melting and resulting water run-off, we were unable to see the full effect of the reversal.

 Only in Newfoundland....

Houses made from glass bottles, PEI

Up along the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, NS.  Seems the weather can get a little crazy up there and these emergency shelters are found on many of the mountain tops.

Not only is the ground red in PEI, but the some of the coastal water is too.

Randy risking life and limb for a souvenier bottle of Atlantic Ocean water.

Along Cape Spear's coast line (the most eastern tip of North America).

 Iceburg!

(Fort Cape Spear, NFLD) This picture doesn't even begin to illustrate how huge this was... on each side there was an underground tunnel with a dozen or so little rooms off to the side.

This was taken early on... by the time we left to board the ferry to Newfoundland, half a dozen more people had joined the group.  I was able to record a video of them playing as well =o)
