So I called the hospital back this morning and got almost everything sorted out.  Hopefully the scheduling for my training goes as planned so that I can honour my current commitments to ComCare for the Canada Day weekend.  
Also, I hope that I can maneuver to have my on call weekends land opposite of the radio show.  I know the station may be gone ( Read more... )

Ministry was awsome last night!  I am sooooo happy they did their cover of Under My Thumb.  And, to top it off, I caught not one, but TWO guitar picks.

the 2 things that are guaranteed in life.  And after spending over 3 hours pulling my hair out over the latter, I'm torn as to which one is really worse.

Today marks one year since Shadow passed away.  One year...it seems like so much longer than that.  In memory, I placed a black cat statue beside her headstone. *sigh*  There are days when I still can't believe that she is really gone... she was such a big part of my life for so long.  It just feels like one day i'll wake up and she'll be there... Seems I've been celebrating for almost a week now.  Tuesday a friend took me out to dinner and then several bars/pubs in Guelph, Thursday I had lunch with another friend before heading to St Kitts to see razorbackhollow  and doomsbride.  Friday I got my tragus pierced, went shoe shopping (where I picked up a pair of Demonia boots for $30), had lunch at Boston Pizza (yum), ( Read more... )

and it's bitter-sweet.  I'll miss school because it is something I am exceptionally good at.  At the same time, I'm excited because a new career lies ahead, and it too is something I will be very good at.
