In which Thor has a temper tantrum and then Loki has one too

I saw Thor with my sister! It was adorable!

This is possibly a silly descriptor for an action movie, but it's true! Chris Hemsworth makes an amazingly charming ladies' man ahem leading man, there are lots of jokes that spoof the whole concept and the scenery is pretty. Incidentally, by scenery, I am not talking about Hemsworth's bare chest, ( Read more... )

He gets run over TWICE! They make so much fun of him, I love it :)

Also "We drank, we fought, he did his ancestors proud" XDDDD Silly Vikings!

HAHA Man, so many lulzy lines. Oh, and when he slammed the coffee mug onto the floor in the diner because he wanted another. I'm so glad this was in the line up of Marvel movies this year. While Capt A looks awesome, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be mad-serious. (And I like my lulz whenever I watch... well, anything.)

Honestly I don't know if I can handle the combination of serious WW2 war movie + ridiculous superhero antics. The designers tried to make Cap's outfit a bit more realistic but it's still stupid. Oh look, he's even got a bull's eye on the shield so the Nazis know where to shoot!

I have the same problem with the Cowboys & Aliens trailer. Can't it just be a cowboy movie? Why do they have to bring aliens into it? It just wrecks the tension when suddenly people start flying backwards through the air. Seriously what.

It WAS an adorable film! (THE AVENGERS DOESN'T COUNT BECAUSE OF JOSS WHEDON UGHHHHHH I HATE HIS VERY FACE)

I like both Loki and Thor, they are both pretty cute, and Thor and JANE FOSTER are fabulous, but.... Lokiiiiiii ): this feels a little like my situation re: Doctor Who, where I asbolutely adore all the protagonists, but I focus on Rory more because HE KEEPS DYING. Thor is great, I love his character development, I love his SMILES and his unintentional hilarity, but then loki heartpunches me ):

I actually feel like Thor and Odin would have no problem with Loki if he came back. Maybe the other characters might, but for the most part, the only one who has a problem with Loki being Loki is Loki <- what

Thor might hit Loki once but that would be the end of it. Which is what makes it so frustrating that he's set to be the villain in the Avengers! Loki needs to kiss and make up with his bro!

...Maybe that can happen in Thor 2 after The Avengers??? (Not that they announced it yet but you know how it is with these movies.)

Loki has a problem with Loki because Loki is a FROST GIANT and ALL HIS LIFE he's been told stories about how awful they are, they can do no good, they're murderers and monsters and nothing at all like the Asgardians and Loki can't stop thinking about that; he's jotunn, nothing can change that, see how he's so obviously different from every other person in asgard :((((( Odin didn't tell him the truth till it was too late, he kept secrets, he shouts at Loki and doesn't listen. I think once Thor heard the whole story -- he doesn't know that Loki is Lauffey's son -- he absolutely would not be pissed at Loki; Loki is Thor's brother, Thor is probably the only one who loves him unconditionally and without reservation, and.... once he'd heard Loki's side, I think he'd understand. I don't think he'd hit him ( ... )

Odin is kind of an ass, isn't he? I think it's interesting that both Thor and Loki thought the best way to impress their dad was by beating up some frost giants. Loki, being Loki, was just more systematic about it.

About the hit, I thought it would just be Thor's way of saying "And now we're even" and then he would invite Loki for beer again. But maybe the newly improved, sensitive version wouldn't? Hmmm.

Plus what was with Loki's segue about Jane making Thor weak? You've been kvetching the whole movie about how Thor is arrogant and then it turns out that you secretly like his He-Man approach to everything? Lulz. So tsundere.

Seconded. I actually thought Thor was going to take his shirt off to pull out the hammer but then he didn't :(

THIS SOUNDS GOOD and while I hate the movies I will pay money to view this at home. No piracy.

I really come with unrelated news, Adi, you can have that Miku nendoroid if you're willing to pay like $70 for it :/ Just saw it while shopping for toys I can't actually have right now. She has a CLEAR FROZEN NEGI lol
