Naruto 684: We Must Kill Him!!
-Obito prepares to warp to Kaguya's dimension, with CloneNaruto and Sakura.
-While Kaguya is now aware of Obito's plan, she focuses on attacking RealNaruto. He uses a combination of Kage Bunshin as a diversion and taijutsu to literally ride Kaguya's coat tails into another dimension.
-Naruto and a couple of clones (which have disappeared) have managed to enter her sand dimension. BZ is concerned that he is a real threat to their plan. They can't risk the chance that Naruto will reunite with Sasuke and succeed in sealing them. Naruto’s chakra is not as important as eliminating him as a threat.
-Using a bone technique reminiscent of Kimimaro, Kaguya seemingly kills Naruto, right?
-After temporarily hiding in his own dimension Obito warps Sakura and himself into Kaguya's dimension.Kakashi remains behind.
-A confused Kaguya has returned to the icy/snow dimension only to find Naruto's clones have not vanished. Who did she kill?
SAKURA AND KAKASHI
So far she is needed to get them in and out of Kaguya's dimension, not exactly insignificant. What will she do once she gets them to that dimension is another thing. Though I suspect she and Kakashi will eventually prove to Sasuke that they aren't entirely useless. I hope.
NARUTO
Nice to see Naruto use his brain to strategize against Kaguya. Reminds me of his fights pre-time skip.
And no way is he dead. But where is RealNaruto? By the end of the chapter I was completely confused on this point. I couldn't tell the difference between him and his clones. Next week's chapter should clear this up.
BZ AND KAGUYA
What is their ultimate plan? We know Kaguya wants to reclaim her chakra, but what else? She is creating a white zetsu army for some reason. BZ continues to assert his position as leader with Kaguya merely following his direction. I don't think she is his puppet. But I'm starting to wonder if BZ misled her into following him as he did with his rewrite of the Uchiha tablet and Madara. Will BZ end up being the only true villain that wasn't manipulated and can't be TNJ'd?
OVERALL
Enjoyed the chapter, though I would have liked to see what was up with Team Hokage. Can’t wait to see what happens next. What do I think could happen next?
1.Madara is revived and learns about BZ’s rewrite of the Uchiha table. He joins Hashi and the rest of the Hokage to fight Kaguya. I imagine Kakashi will also join the party. What will Hagoromo contribute? More power ups? Or information?
2.RealNaruto is in the same dimension as Sasuke, Obito, and Sakura. They will all meet up soon.
