Kakashi is horrified that Obito saved him at the cost of his own life. Naruto tries to heal Obito, but Black Zetsu warns him that it's futile.
Meanwhile, Sasuke's Rinnegan power returns, and he attacks Kaguya with a Chidori. But she transports the whole group to another dimension and escapes.
Even Naruto's new abilities seem unequal to the task of healing Obito. He thanks Naruto for reminding him of the way he used to be, and after urging Naruto to become Hokage, crumbles to dust.
(I wanted to use the "Become Hokage at all costs!" panel for this, but it takes up a whole page and I thought the image would be just too huge.)
Zetsu keeps trash-talking about Obito, apparently not aware that Naruto gets 1000 times stronger when he's mad. Naruto then cuts off the sleeve (and arm) that Black Zetsu was hiding in.
Finally, Obito reunites with Rin in the afterlife.
So, I know a lot of people have been feeling like Obito overstayed his welcome, and in this chapter, he finally left the story. I thought the scene of him reuniting with Rin was sweet.
I'm interested to see what Kaguya and Black Zetsu will do now that they've been separated. Zetsu seemed to be advising Kaguya, so perhaps this will turn things in the good guys' favor? On the other hand, enemies that aren't in the same place can flank you or attack you from multiple angles, so this could also make the battle harder for Team 7. I guess we'll have to see what direction Kishi goes in with it.
