Thanks for the review! I am in a hurry at the moment, and I still have to think what I want to write... My first idea yesterday was that I felt that Sasuke was somehow humiliated, and now I understand where this feeling comes from - apparently, all his thoughts - at least those he still treasures - are other people's thoughts - his father's, his mother's, his brother's, and now also Naruto's. Who is he himself?
Thank you for your review! I, too, was glad to get some of Sasuke's thoughts over the ending of the series, as I think he has an interesting perspective to bring to everyrhing we've seen. The story couldn't really reach an emotional close, I think, if there were an overarching question of whether Sasuke was coming back to Konoha simply because he'd lost (which was an enduring problem in Madara's association with Hashirama) or whether he wanted to be a part of the village. As senior_witch asked, there is an unresolved question of who Sasuke is now that he wants to set vengeance aside, and of what he wants *positively* (as opposed to no longer wanting to be the person he used to be). For me, I like the journey he sets out on at the end of the series precisely because I think Sasuke needs an answer to those questions even more than we do, and he won't find them while he's comparing himself with Naruto in Konoha. The arc of Sasuke leaving on a journey of self-discovery, possibly at the Dragon Cave in a similar retreat to Naruto's study with the frogs

I loved all the symbolism too, especially the head band panel. Seems like Sasuke is foreshadowing he and Naruto still have one more battle left - the battle to become Hokage. Will the movie "The Last" cover this? I hope so.
Also loved that the chapter was from Sasuke's pov.
I assume you mean all of us who have written reviews and other blogposts here, so I think I can thank you in the name of all of us. There were times when I wondered whether I was wasting my time, but getting thanks now from people whom I cannot remember commenting here (I apologize if you did and if I forgot you - there were times when I made notes about people writing comments, because that was the main criterion for getting accepted to the community) gives me some hope that this wasn't the case.
Now I have more time, but I am still busy drafting a lengthy essay that sums up how I think and feel about the manga. Also I have now read the chapter from beginning to end
