Judging from my Facebook most reactions range from okay to downright enthusiastic, so yay for a step forward in our tiny society! I'm not kidding myself by thinking that everyone will be so accepting but this is the first time something like this has received this much public approval, so I'm optimistic about our future

That's excellent! So glad to hear it.

I really wish people would just *see* the disgusting hypocrisy in pretty much *every* church and wise up. If you still wanna believe in a deity, that's fine, but 'the church' does not need to come into it at all.
