At the Pump

Why do I always feel that my privacy is violated when I go to the convenience store? Do you ever feel this way? Let me explain…..

I hate when I go to the gas station to pump gas and before you can do so, you have to answer a ton of stupid questions:

I have a Debit Card that gives me cash back at the end of the month when I run my transactions as “Credit” so i’m happy that they ask me that. I think they ask the ZIP Code to verify that it’s actually you using the card at the pump and not someone random. Next time, try entering an alternate zip code and see if your transaction is approved.

Yes. I was talking about this all day. You can't do business with anyone anymore without them entitled to your personal data. It's more than annoying. It's deeply disturbing.
