Firstly, today's tonight's attempt at watercolour for sketching_dailyFranck and I are in the middle of trimming the olive trees, so I picked a few twigs, put them in a vase and painted. I think I don't dare to touch up the olive branch sketch. Painting a background around a detailed foreground scares me!

You know, about the babies, it's funny because I painted this around their birth and a few months later they turned out sort of looking like this, the girl thinner and the boy chubbier :)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked :)

I sketched the outline of the vase, the length of the twigs and a few of the leaves to keep the proportions right, but I found that it was much less time consuming to directly paint most of the leaves.
