I just love fanfictions in Alfred's POV. They're just so magnificent, and the angst they bring isn't overrated. This is wonderfully written, the hint of angst overshadowed by Alfred's forced cheerfulness is just beautiful.

I share your sentiments. I really like it when Alfred's serious side is shown, but in the most subtle of ways. It kinda proves a point, I guess. Hehe. D'aww, I'm glad you liked this one!

Aww ♥ Firstly, I liked how you handled Alfred's POV. It was also how he could perfectly realize what Arthur was feeling and yet he succeeds on acting like an oblivious dork in order to raise's Arthur's spirits. And even better, it worked xD
