OK I just got done watching the Dark Knight. Shit that was good. Non-stop action and suspense. And it was so fuckin dark. But I'm just left with so many questions ( Read more... )

I think Depp could replace Ledger as the Joker.

Good idea Huxi. That would be awesome. I'd really like to see Depp do a really crazy AND evil person. In pirates he was kinda crazy and eccentric but he was a good guy. And in Sweeny Todd he was kinda evil. I'd like to see him mash those two characters together, and get really extreme with it. It would be awesome.

Depp couldn't play the Joker I think. He won't ever be able to play him like Ledger does. Cause as I was watching the movie, I never once thought, "that's Heath Ledger." He was totally and completely the Joker. I don't think Depp could do it. I mean he's a brilliant actor, but I honestly think he would suck as the Joker.

OK I also didn't think "that's Heath Ledger" when he was playing the Joker. It was partly because he had the makeup on that made his face less recognizable. But it was mainly his acting. He was so crazy, and so much better than any other role I've seen him in. So why can't the same happen to Depp? His face is more recognizable but the makeup could change some or most of that. I think it mainly comes down to the acting. If Depp can pull off the crazy evil diabolical anarchist then I think he could pull off the Joker very well, despite the fact that everyone would be like "hmmm that Joker looks kinda like Johnny Depp". It's the acting that brings you in, and if the acting is good enough, it will keep you in regardless of what the actual person looks like ( ... )

Was that Morgan Freeman line about Batman's new suit a little foreshadowing of them using catwoman next movie?

Bruce wants a new suit that will make him quicker.

Good catch Tom, I didn't notice it at first but now I remember the line. I've read a some stuff on the net, and many people think that that is whats coming up next. Catwoman never really interested me, cuz she didn't really do anything that horrible (from what I can remember). But maybe they will make her really fuckin evil and crazy. After this movie, I'm a believer.

I personally love the movie. I love what they've done with the two so far and I'm excited for what's next.

Hancock was a great film actually. I was surprised. It looked horrible in all the trailers and commercials but it turned out to have a great plot line. It had the right amount of humor and action. With a dash of a twisted love story.
