according to the grandaddy website, a new album is finished - recorded, mixed, mastered, etc. but they haven't decided on a release date yet. well hurry up! something needs to save me from black cherry.

and i need to get on the ball and order my new cardigans and stephen malkmus.

well i'm sure it's the same way with goldfrapp thinking black cherry is the best. just because they're the artist doesn't mean they've got a clue. i hate how people think that just because that someone produces music or acts or whatever those celebrities do means that they've got half a wit. yeh, usually not.

They're producing this work though! If they didn't have a clue, smarts, talent, or will, it wouldn't be getting produced in the first place.

And an artist is allowed to be as proud or as critical of their work as anyone else experiencing it, if not more.

i'm sorry, what country do you live in? let alone, what world do you live in? since when did it take having a clue or smarts or talent to produce a record in this industry? that is the most blindly idealistic comment that i have ever heard. i'm not saying that this is necessarily the case with the cardigans, but it doesn't make 'em goddamn mental geniuses
