So, either my meds are kicking in or spring is springing and the extra sunshine is invigorating me or all of the above, because holy moly, I actually have done a little bit of drawing!

First up, a quick little sketchy fan art of the creepy twins from the latest Double Fine video game, The Cave, which I highly enjoyed. Maybe I'll get around to

I like the balance of the hat, but there is something very romantic about the first picture, where as the second one he looks a bit more showbooating - maybe I know the word I want but I can't spell it (cavalier- something like that). Maybe a background element could work to balance the picture. Drapery, with a tie about wher ethe hat is might work. Or one of thlose really tall candel holder things might also work to create the same sense of compositional balalnce the hat does.

Thanks for the comment! I agree with you completely on the nice balance from the hat visually, but I also felt like I enjoyed the emotional feeling of the hatless picture.... definitely more romantic and less "showy". I like your suggestions about how to regain the visual balance while retaining the romanticness of the hatless pose... thanks!!
