4x07 . the good, the bad & the downright ugly.

Okay so this was my most anticipated episode of the season, I liked a lot that happened and the rest I just wish I could blank out from my mind COMPLETELY. If I thought 4x05 was a mindfuck, this definitely took the cake. I was following but somewhere in the middle they lost me. the end.. just threw me off completely. nothing about it makes sense. OMG. MY INITIAL REACTION AFTER WATCHING: THEY KILLED THE FUNSPONGE! WHAT THE FUCKKKK.

What the hell was he even doing to her? She went in upset and left all rejuvenated . Can somebody explain this to me? I'm still fucking confused as ever.

Okay, so I think this was a brainwashing technique. Like, she would mentally close off those thoughts entirely and replace them with the positive of what could have happened in that situation. Therefore he pretty much trained her to brainwash herself. So that she would never have to feel the negatives, which obviously isn't very healthy, us being humans and needing a range of emotions. So because she had closed it all away in a little box in her mind, it all came crashing back once that box was opened.

I loved all the Tony mention, I don't get what the car crash has to do with anything.. he didn't die. He's perfectly okay now. Is that suppose to be the moment she started 'hearing voices' because it was a traumatic thing to witness? That's my guess. I mean, it was super traumatic for her. She ( ... )

i really wanted to watch it but there were literally no download links, but i manage to find one.

and yeah, that was some crazy shit that went on in the last few minutes of the episode. idk how they're gonna wrap up the whole series now that they've possibly killed freddie like that. wtf.

I've a feeling BBC America is going to show Series 4 in August/September, because that is when they showed Series 3. It's not too bleeped out. I was expecting heavy editing and I don't think it was too heavily edited and they didn't bleep too much.

I was a bit disappointed that Cook didn't notice something was up when they met up the second time. I mean, she was clearly confused as to who he was and stuff.

IDK I just didn't like this episode, but the last minutes, Effy going crazy and then Freddie getting the stuffing beaten out of him woke me up. That was brutal to watch.

Yeah, they showed it on a Thursday night. It aired at 7PM my time. And one Saturday they had a marathon of Series 3. They haven't shown it recently though.

But that was in August or September last year. Hopefully they'll show Series 4!

I really loved all the Cook/Effy scenes. So amazing and it definitely proved that they are not over. Cook handled things so well and I was really proud of him. And I swear I squealed when she kissed him.

The ending though...okay, I've never been a big fan of Freddie, but I've always tolerated him. That was just too much to have him "killed" like that. The therapist was definitely weird. I got that vibe when he turned the creepy music on and started dancing. But I did not expect the episode to end the way that it did and I'm hoping there's some sort of twist.

ITA, the last thing we need is a whole episode devoted to finding Freddie or Freddie's death. I mean it's the finale ffs
