His Choice, His Demon
Asami Ryuichi was one hell of a bastard. That was one of the thoughts that he can still remember thinking from their second meeting. He had never met someone who could be so cruelly cold to another living being.
He hadn’t wanted to get involved with the yakuza, but the older man hadn’t really given him a choice. The man has forced him to do so many things that he never dared dreaming of. And often he is embarrassed by these things and curses the older man for doing this to him.
But deep inside his heart, he knows that Asami means it well. In his own dark world, one he has lived in for a long time. One world he, himself is slowly getting used to.
A world, where everything will go down without even a single word or action. A world, where he needs protection, even if he doesn’t ever admit it.
Asami is one of the most dangerous men to have ever walked the streets of Tokyo and maybe even Japan. He knows that, but sometimes it is easy to forget this little fact.
It is really easy to forget that his lover is a cruel, cold person to the people who oppose him or ignore him. He knows that the so-called business of the yakuza is so dangerous that you never know what can happen the next minute.
But despite knowing all this, and sometimes choosing to ignore it, he wouldn’t trade this life with the one he had before he met the older man.
He loves the trill that he can only feel when he is with the yakuza. He even loves the danger the man represents, that rolls of the man’s body.
He knows that he is special to the yakuza. He has realized this some time ago. And he isn’t lying when he says that he enjoys this place.
Because now he knows that the man will never just see him as a pet or something easy to get rid of. The older man will do anything in his power to protect him. He knows this and sometimes even hates it.
His lover is simply said a living demon, straight out of hell. Everybody who knows the man has thought this one point in their life.
He also has thought that same thing numerous times.
But what he also realizes is that this demon is also his demon. A demon who will destroy the whole world if need to be, to keep him safe.
No one wants to live and certainly not love a demon. But he has no other choice but do. The yakuza brought him into this, but now his choice it to stay here. Beside the demon, loving and caring, making sure that his lover also sees that there is another side to this dark life.
